Between the hours of 8 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Tuesday, the Lodi Police Department received 529 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls.

Friday

That's foul: 8:12 a.m. — A caller said his ex-girlfriend entered his home and committed "foul play" on his bed on the 300 block of Locust Street.

Where there's smoke: 10:53 a.m. — A Christmas tree was possibly on fire on the 200 block of Lockeford Street.

Canine invader: 10:58 a.m. — A woman said a vicious dog got into her apartment and was hiding under her bed on the 1000 block of Garfield Street.

Get a room: 3:15 p.m. — A man was sitting on a bench and smoking drugs out of a pipe on the 0 block of North School Street.

Too fast, too furious: 4:58 p.m. — A silver Mustang was driving recklessly and burning rubber on the 500 block of South Cherokee Lane.

Old yeller: 7:04 p.m. — A transient woman was pushing a shopping cart and yelling profanities at children on the 200 block of Pine Street.

Possible burglar: 7:57 p.m. — Someone was possibly inside a house on the 700 block of Century Plaza. Sounds came from behind the closed bathroom door, which the caller stated, "is never closed."

Not a great place to sleep it off: 9:34 p.m. — A drunken man was lying in the gutter next to a GrapeLine bus stop on the 200 block of Eureka Avenue.

Saturday

Garage sale grinch: 9:49 a.m. — Someone was having a garage sale at the strawberry stand on the 2400 block of Vine Street.

Unacceptable!: 3:01 p.m. — A group was playing football on the new turf at the Lodi Grape Bowl on the 200 block of Lawrence Avenue.

Sunday

The lap of luxury: 11:18 a.m. — Someone was possibly living out of a storage unit on the 0 block of North Sacramento Street. A caller heard a radio and singing.

Beyond the bike barricade: 2:21 p.m. — A man cannot enter his business because a number of bikes are locked to the front door on the 0 block of Main Street.

Rebels without a cause: 6:41 p.m. — Four males were taking apart bicycles and spray-painting on the 900 block of Wellswood Avenue.

Monday

Finders keepers: 8:53 a.m. — A large amount of mail was found on the street on the 300 block of Sperling Way.

We don't need another hero: 4:13 p.m. — A juvenile was riding a go-cart back and forth around the area on the 800 block of Church Street.

Lodi Unified leaders are moving Lodi and Tokay high school graduations from the Grape Bowl to the Spanos Center at UOP in Stockton. They cite limited seating, costs and unpredictable weather at the Grape Bowl. But others say graduations at the Grape Bowl are an important Lodi tradition, and one reason many supported renovating the stadium. What do you think?
