Since 8 a.m. Thursday, the Lodi Police Department received 650 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls:

Thursday

That sounds bad: 8:24 a.m. — An excavator hit an unmarked 2-inch gas line on the 2600 block of Reynolds Ranch Parkway.

Petty theft: 9:05 a.m. — Meat was stolen from a business on the 600 block of West Kettleman Lane.

Fire: 3:45 p.m. — A grass fire was reported on the 20800 block of North Highway 99.

Productive hobby: 4:12 p.m. — Five white juveniles — a combination of male and female — were playing "chicken" with the train on the 0 block of East Kettleman Lane.

So grab some cash: 7:11 p.m. — A caller said a vault was exposed under an ATM machine on the 1000 block of West Kettleman Lane.

Friday

Suspicious behavior: 2:30 a.m. — Someone reported hearing voices in the tennis court near the 0 block of South Pacific Avenue.

Busted: 2:48 p.m. — A juvenile on the 500 block of West Lodi Avenue was in custody for allegedly shoplifting liquor.

Burglary: 4:50 p.m. — A flat-screen television, Nintendo Wii and other items were stolen from a residence on the 2000 block of Bluejay Way.

Trying to lose a hand: 8:45 p.m. — Juveniles were playing with fireworks on the 300 block of Audubon Drive.

Hope that wasn't me: 11:42 p.m. — An intoxicated white male wearing a white shirt with jeans was repeatedly exposing himself and stumbling on the 200 block of South School Street.

Saturday

Keeping it classy: 12:30 a.m. — A large party was taking place in the middle of the 100 block of Adobe Court and people were throwing bottles at cars.

Just ignore him: 11:27 p.m. — A male in white sweats was calling people names on the 200 block of South Lee Avenue.

Oscar?: 1:47 p.m. — A transient was in a Dumpster and threatened a man on the 1700 block of West Lockeford Street.

Vandalism: 4:58 p.m. — Three juveniles were attempting to break into a used car lot on the 0 block of South Cherokee Lane.

Just take the beer and relax: 7:04 p.m. — Two subjects stole beer from the 600 block of South Cherokee Lane and one pulled up his shirt and revealed he had a gun.

Shots fired: 10:19 p.m. — Gunshots were reported on the 1400 block of South Stockton Street.

Sunday

Drinking: 12:05 a.m. — A group of kids were drinking on the 200 block of East Oak Street.

We're trying to have a society: 2:32 a.m. — A subject was refusing to pay their cab fare on the 1300 block of South Lower Sacramento Road.

Egging: 4:53 a.m. — A gold Toyota Prius was egged on the 600 block of Connie Street.

Disturbance: 6:26 p.m. — Neighbors were fighting over a dog jumping into a backyard on the 300 block of East Elm Street.

Customer service: 11:36 p.m. — An employee and customer were arguing on the 1100 block of East Kettleman Lane.

Monday

Theft: 5:52 a.m. — A catalytic converter was stolen on the 2000 block of Snowbird Drive.

    Yet another item in the LNS including the ethnicity of the subjects. When will this paper stop it's racist reporting?
