Since 8 a.m. Tuesday, the Lodi Police Department received 178 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls:
Trash on the road: 8:22 a.m. — A caller reported a metal car bumper on the 800 block of East Kettleman Lane.
Can’t you drive?: 9:33 a.m. — Someone sideswiped a parked car on the 100 block of West Lockeford Street.
Found casings: 12:40 p.m. — A caller on the 200 block of Eden Street found spent bullet casings.
They seem sophisticated: 3:14 p.m. — Two white females were in a store on the 2400 block of West Kettleman Lane after allegedly stealing an item from Stockton. One had pink hair and a knife in her cleavage.
They probably should do a load: 3:57 p.m. — One male and two females who appeared to be homeless were in front of a Laundromat on the 600 block of East Victor Road.
Caught red-handed: 5:17 p.m. — A woman who was caught shoplifting from the 100 block of Lakewood Mall was being combative with security guards.
You are all so cool: 6:04 p.m. — Eight to 10 juveniles were drinking on a sidewalk on the 400 block of West Locust Street.
Oil spill: 8:56 p.m. — An 18-wheeler on the 0 block of East Tokay Street was leaking oil after hitting a bolt in the roadway.
Suspicious: 11:40 p.m. — A male was going through garbage cans on the 500 block of South School Street. A female was with him and had a light on her head.
Sword theft: 1:59 a.m. — Two swords were missing from a residence on the 2200 block of West Elm Street.
