Between the hours of 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday, the Lodi Police Department received 149 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls.


Movers: 12:04 p.m. — Two people were moving belongings out of a third person's garage, according to a caller on the 2300 block of Eilers Lane.

Is this yours? 12:28 p.m. — Three male juveniles were trying to get into a white Honda. They said it was their car, but were also looking into other vehicles on the 1100 block of Oak Street.

Jason is on the go: 1:54 p.m. — Bikes and a chainsaw were taken from a backyard shed on the 800 block of Rutledge Drive.

Thirsty with a view: 1:57 p.m. — Three teenagers were climbing up on the trestle with bottles on the 100 block of East Turner Road.

Bad driver: 2:20 p.m. — A resident on the 2200 block of Scarborough Drive was parked in the parking lot and screaming at heir parents about their driving and parking.

Calm down: 3:42 p.m. — A woman riding a tricycle on the 1300 block of Hutchins Street appeared to be intoxicated and was in the middle of the roadway and yelling at people.

What the horse? 6:31 p.m. — A man rode a horse into the parking lot near Starbucks on the 2400 block of West Kettleman Lane and left it there for several hours.

Wallet found: 8:03 p.m. — A caller found a bag of paperwork and a wallet on the 700 block of Holly Drive.

Santa needs a drink: 8:20 p.m. — A man in a red hat ran out of a business on the 100 block of Lodi Avenue with two large bottles in his hands.

Speed Racer: 9:17 p.m. — Vehicles were racing northbound on Interstate 5.

He who casts the first stone: 9:33 p.m. — A disturbance turned physical on the 500 block of South Central Avenue when possible gang members had bricks in their hands.

Party time: 10:26 p.m. — Loud music was coming from the garage behind a residence on the 300 block of Flora Street.


Theft: 4:39 a.m. —A laptop and wireless router were stolen from a residence on the 200 block of Washington Street.

Hey, girl! 6:23 a.m. — A white male on a purple bike dressed like a girl and wearing a wig was looking into cars and at houses on the 400 block of North Crescent Avenue.
