Between the hours of 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday, the Lodi Police Department received 142 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls:
Suspicious activity: 10:45 a.m. — Two women locked themselves inside of a bathroom in the 200 block of North Ham Lane.
Code violation: 11:46 a.m. — A woman wearing a pink shirt was pushing a shopping cart around the 200 block of North Cherokee Lane and aggressively panhandling.
Disturbance: 12:18 p.m. — An intoxicated woman wearing a pink tank top and blue jeans was harassing customers outside of a business on the 300 block of Cherokee Lane.
Vandalism: 1:12 p.m. — A juvenile male was spraypainting the side of a residence on the 200 block of Lambert Court and South Church Street.
Welfare check: 2:53 p.m. — An 18-year-old woman left her 4-month-old baby unattended inside her house on the 300 block of North Mills Avenue while she smoked marijuana out back. The female’s sister came home to a house filled with marijuana smoke.
Civil assistance: 5:25 p.m. — A caller asked for assistance in picking up grooming equipment from a former employer on the 600 block of West Kettleman Lane who refused to return it.
Suspicious: 6:29 p.m. — An older red SUV appeared to be aggressively chasing a blue Tahoe on the 900 block of West Locust Street and North Orange Avenue.
