Between the hours of 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday, the Lodi Police Department received 170 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls.

Monday

Hippie thief: 10:58 a.m. — A recycling bin was stolen from the 700 Block of Fairmont Street.

What if there is a fire?: 12:34 p.m. — A blue Honda was blocking a fire hydrant on the 400 block of Almond Drive.

Not cool, parking: 2:13 p.m. — A truck was parked on the sidewalk on the 1300 block of Church Street, forcing a woman into a wheelchair to move to the street where she was almost hit by a car.

Scoop that puppy up: 2:53 p.m. — A Chihuahua was running in and out of traffic on the 200 block of Lodi Avenue.

Theft: 4:28 p.m. — Paperwork and firearms were stolen from a residence on the 1100 block of Bradford Court.

Flying citrus: 6:56 p.m. — Juveniles were throwing oranges at people and cars on the 300 block of Locust Street.

Garden dogs: 11:46 p.m. — Two pit bulls were trying to get into a caller's front gate on the 500 block of Pacific Avenue. She tried to make them leave, but they chased her into her house.
