Since 8 a.m. Friday, the Lodi Police Department received 436 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls:

Friday

Animal call: 9:47 a.m. — A tan pit bull with a green collar was roaming on the 600 block of Westwood Avenue.

Gone fishin’: 10:53 a.m. — A caller found a fishing license someone had dropped on the 200 block of West Elm Street.

Petty theft: 1:15 p.m. — A Hispanic male juvenile with a white shirt stole alcohol from a business on the 1000 block of West Kettleman Lane.

HAZMAT: 2:03 p.m. — A caller needed the fire department to check water on the 900 block of South Fairmont Avenue to make sure it wasn’t contaminated.

Registration theft: 2:28 p.m. — A registration sticker was stolen from a license plate on the 900 block of Holly Drive.

Being a jerk isn’t a handicap: 4:17 p.m. — A black Jeep was parked in a handicap zone on the 100 block of South School Street.

Karate kids: 5:22 p.m. — Juveniles on the 200 block of Rainer Drive were doing martial arts in the street.

Telephone tough-talk: 5:28 p.m. — The sister and boyfriend of a caller on the 1900 block of South Church Street were making threats over the phone. Both subjects were in their 40s.

Time for boot camp: 9:32 p.m. — A caller wanted help with her “out-of-control” 15-year-old daughter.

Saturday

Bring your green hat: 12:21 a.m. — Subjects were streaking in a parking lot on the 2600 block of West Kettleman Lane.

Property damage: 9:43 a.m. — A caller reported vandalism to a vehicle and property damage to utility boxes on the 700 block of Dorchester Way.

Rude driver: 10:35 a.m. — A caller on the 1100 block of West Century Boulevard was saving a parking stall for his mother when another vehicle pulled into the space. The driver said he couldn’t save the space and continued advancing.

He knows what he’s doing: 1:05 p.m. — A white male was riding a bicycle and hitting himself on the 100 block of West Kettleman Lane.

... ’Cause you had a bad day: 5:37 p.m. — A white male with a red and white plaid shirt was sitting on a bench on the 0 block of West Locust Street screaming at himself.

Move along: 6:25 p.m. — A transient was sleeping by the Dumpsters on the 100 block of North Church Street.

Signing nature’s guestbook: 6:31 p.m. — A male was urinating in front of a business on the 2200 block of West Turner Drive.

Call the Secret Service: 7:38 p.m. — A caller reported a phony $10 bill on the 1200 block of South Hutchins Street.

Vehicle violation: 9:38 p.m. — A vehicle was parked in the driveway of a caller on the 100 block of Mokelumne River Drive.

Keep it down: 11:37 p.m. — Loud subjects were reported in a hot tub on the 1700 block of South Mills Avenue.

Sunday

Somewhere, Bob Barker is weeping: 1:18 a.m. — Two females were trying to take a caller’s dog on the 200 block of Columbia Drive so the caller couldn’t get it fixed.

Fish and visitors begin to smell: 3:04 p.m. — A caller said her 20-year-old brother refused to leave a residence on the 500 block of Pioneer Drive.

Happy ending: 3:39 p.m. — A stolen bicycle was returned to the 700 block of South Church Street. The caller said they no longer wanted to press charges.

What a life: 4:57 p.m. — A transient wearing a leather jacket and riding a bicycle was hitting his dog with a rope on the 500 block of South Cherokee Lane.

Domestic disturbance: 6:52 p.m. — A caller on the 900 block of Lake Home Drive reported hearing items thrown and a male screaming at a female.

Monday

Vandalism: 7:31 a.m. — Vandalism to the water treatment plant was reported on the 2000 block of West Turner Road.
