In the 24 hours since 10 a.m. Monday, the Lodi Police Department handled 142 calls for service. The following is a sample of calls received by dispatchers.


Repeated Egging

2:19 a.m.: For the second time that night, someone in a black Ford Probe threw eggs at a home in the 1100 block of Lake Home Drive.

Shattered Door

8:26 a.m.: Someone through bricks through the front glass door at TNT Discount Motorsport, 1320 Auto Center Drive.

Stolen Gun

10:15 a.m.: A gun was stolen from an unlocked vehicle. The victim wasn't sure where it happened.


Residential Burglary

10:35 a.m.: Someone broke into a home in the 2100 block of Seahawk Lane.


11:06 a.m.: After smashing into a Nissan Frontier near the garden center at Wal-Mart, 2350 W. Kettleman Lane, the suspect vehicle fled the scene.

Stubborn and drunk

12:12 p.m.: A drunken man was refusing to leave the lobby at the Salvation Army, 525 W. Lockeford St.

Brief Freedom

2:57 p.m.: Minutes after agreeing in court to stay away from his wife and being released from custody, a man walked with the woman down the street in front of the Police Department, 215 W. Elm St. He was once again arrested.

Assault of some sort

4:24 p.m.: Two males, one of whom was bleeding from the mouth, ran into someone's front yard in the 800 block of South Washington Street. A third male entered the yard and was starting a fight. Police arrived and arrested someone.

Bar Fight

8:38 p.m.: About 10 people were fighting inside Sky's Bar, 116 W. Turner Road.

Not for a child to see

8:43 p.m.: A young girl went to a West Century Boulevard home, asking for police because "Daddy hit Mommy." Police arrested a 47-year-old man.


9:06 p.m.: After assaulting someone at Boston Market, 514 W. Kettleman Lane, two men walked away.

Debris Fight

9:38 p.m.: Ten juveniles were starting a fight by throwing garbage and rocks in a parking lot in the 500 block of East Elm Street.

Texted death threats

11:32 p.m.: A North Central Avenue resident was receiving death threats by text message.
