Since 8 a.m. Friday, the Lodi Police Department received 775 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls:


Theft: 8:38 a.m. — A catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle on the 400 block of Cork Oak Way.

That’s no good: 8:58 a.m. — A 5-year-old was lighting matches and throwing them over a fence on the 1600 block of Scarborough Drive.

What’s wrong with you?: 10:12 a.m. — A female was breaking items inside a store on the 500 block of West Harney Lane.

Being a deadbeat is tiring: 12:22 p.m. — A male was sleeping on a bench on the 0 block of South Sacramento Street.

I’m not sure you can do that: 12:55 p.m. — A resident was using orange cones to block off the street in front of his residence on the 200 block of East Oak Street.

Fire: 5:08 p.m. — A vehicle fire was near a residence on the 2200 block of Katzakian Way.

Tool theft: 6:09 p.m. — A power sprayer and chainsaw were stolen from a residence on the 1000 block of Bradford Circle.

Gunshots: 8:00 p.m. — Shots were fired on the 2300 block of Cabrillo Circle.


Fast and furious: 12:04 a.m. — Five trucks were burning out in the middle of the 1200 block of Port Chelsea Circle.

Thanks for calling: 12:20 a.m. — A woman on the 200 block of Flora Street was having a fight with a man who took her curling iron. She then hung up on operators.

Winos don’t worry about anything but runnin’ out of wine: 1:59 a.m. — A man was stealing wine on the 1300 block of West Kettleman Lane.

Another theft: 8:10 a.m. — A bike was stolen on the 600 block of North Sacramento Street.

Just ignore her: 12:16 p.m. — A drunk white woman with white hair was yelling on the 100 block of North School Street.

Heat stroke: 5:17 p.m. — A cheerleader was suffering from heat stroke on the 200 block of Lawrence Avenue.

Accident: 8:15 p.m. — A vehicle crashed into a center divide on the 500 block of West Kettleman Lane.

Drunk in public: 11:38 p.m. — An intoxicated white male was staggering on the 1100 block of Northwood Drive.


Trespasser: 1:56 a.m. — A caller on the 2300 block of Medallion Way said someone was on his roof.

Weekend chores: 8:52 a.m. — A subject was making too much noise while repairing his car on the 200 block of Eureka Avenue.

Cooling off: 1:03 p.m. — Two male juveniles were jumping into the canal on the 1900 block of Royal Crest Drive.

Cool guy: 8:16 p.m. — A vehicle was burning out in a school parking lot on the 300 block of Culbertson Drive.


It’s 5 o’clock somewhere: 9:34 a.m. — A Hispanic male was drinking from a 40-ounce bottle on the 0 block of South Sacramento Street.

Sorry, it’s a public street: 2:26 p.m. — A caller on the 1800 block of South School Street was upset a vehicle had parked in front of her residence.

Fireworks?: 8:34 p.m. — A caller reported a small explosion on the 500 block of Almond Drive.


Loud party: 3:11 a.m. — A loud party was being held on the 200 block of South Corinth Avenue.
