Lodi Police Department

Between the hours of 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday, the Lodi Police Department received 151 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls.


Identity theft: 10:06 a.m. — Someone used a Lodi resident’s credit card and Social Security numbers to make purchases in Stockton. The thief also had a fake California identification card.

Residence? Why, it’s a boat: 12:37 p.m. — Someone has been living in a boat parked in a driveway in the 1900 block of West Lockeford Street.

Clothes to remain dirty?: 6:37 p.m. — A washing machine was stolen from a laundry room in the 600 block of Hale Road.

Purse stolen: 7:05 p.m. — A male hit a female and took her purse. She was walking north on North Lower Sacramento Road at West Elm Street.

Rock-bottle toss: 9:36 p.m. — Several juveniles were throwing bottles and rocks on the east side of an apartment complex in the 1100 block of South Central Avenue.

Galt Police Department

The following is a sampling of calls to the Galt Police Department between Jan. 22 and Jan. 27.

Jan. 22

Vehicle accident: 6:04 a.m. — There was a two-vehicle injury collision on southbound Highway 99, south of C Street.

Jan. 23

Siphoned gas: 1:12 a.m. — Two males were seen taking gasoline from a vehicle at South Lincoln Way and Singletree Court. The gas thieves got into a car and headed toward Meladee Lane.


Fighting: 12:57 p.m. — Three people dressed in all red were beating up someone wearing a white shirt at More For Less, 702 N. Lincoln Way at Pringle Avenue.
