Between the hours of 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday, the Lodi Police Department received 164 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls:

Tuesday

Trash can: 9:59 a.m. — A man in a red baseball cap, riding a bike with a trailer, was seen going through trash cans on the 1800 block of Lakeshore Drive.

Pest: 12:40 p.m. — A man who was loitering and bugging customers refused to leave the 76 gas station on the 600 block of East Victor Road.

Sleeping subjects: 4:12 p.m. — Several people were seen sleeping behind a business on the 500 block of West Lodi Avenue.

Work without pay: 6:01 p.m. — A customer left without paying for work on his car on the 300 block of East Kettleman Lane.

Suspicious group: 9:31 p.m. — Five "gang-type" subjects wearing red were being loud on the east side of a business on the 200 block of West Lockeford Street.

Wednesday

Screaming women: 12:04 a.m. — Someone reported hearing a women screaming for help on the 0 block of South Lower Sacramento Road.

In the road: 6:55 a.m. — A woman dressed only in a shirt and underwear was heard screaming in the middle of the road on the 0 block of Kettleman Lane.
