Between the hours of 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday, The Lodi Police Department received 224 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls:
9:28 a.m. — Three transients were sitting in front of a laundry mate and refusing to leave in the 600 block of East Victor Road.
12:07 p.m. — A man was arrested for petty theft in the 2300 block of West Kettleman Lane.
1:54 p.m. — Someone found a blown up mortar in her gutter in the 400 block of Poplar Street.
5:22 p.m. — A pit bull was loose in the 300 block of East Oak Street.
6:37 p.m. — Someone paid two men $900 for cement work but the men have not returned for 30 hours in the 500 block of East Walnut Street.
10:50 p.m. — A loud party with underage drinking was in the 700 block of Live Oak Way.
12:26 a.m. — An aggressive pit bull was in someone’s backyard in the 1600 block of Reisling Drive.
2:43 a.m. — Three or four people were on a baseball field in the 100 block of Lawrence Avenue.
