Between the hours of 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday, The Lodi Police Department received 146 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls:


8:21 a.m. — Someone was in the lobby ranting and raving about Chuck and Selena taking all of her stuff in the 400 block of East Lockeford Street.

9:09 a.m. — Someone thinks she can match a dent on her car with a SUV parked in the same lot in the 2400 block of Eilers Lane.

11:38 a.m. — Two juveniles were in custody for petty theft in the 2300 block of West Kettleman Lane.

1:55 p.m. — A man was walking in his underwear and a robe in the 200 block of South Lower Sacramento Road.

4:34 p.m. — A security guard caught a purse snatcher in the 2900 block of Reynolds Ranch Park.

4:51 p.m. — A woman walked up to someone and threw a liquid on their neck and back in the 0 block of Lockeford Street.


2:38 a.m. — Someone heard a loud crash and smelled burning rubber in the 1100 block of Lakewood Drive.

7:39 a.m. — Someone found a switchblade knife in the 300 block of Sperling Way.
