Between the hours of 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday, the Lodi Police Department received 169 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls:

Package thief: 9:19 a.m. — A caller had a package stolen from their front porch in the 300 block of Del Mont Street.

Being a jerk: 10:58 a.m. — An angry woman started knocking over items inside a store in the 400 block of West Kettleman Lane.

Stop wasting toilet paper: 12:28 p.m. — After her house was repeatedly toilet-papered, a caller said she and her daughter have an idea of who has been doing it in the 1600 block of Providence Way.

Grape Bowl shenanigans: 3 p.m. — Juveniles were playing on the field inside the Grape Bowl in the 200 block of Lawrence Avenue.

Marijuana smell: 3:29 p.m. — A caller smelled weed and thought there was an illegal marijuana garden in the 1600 block of West Elm Street.

Unresponsive male: 6:04 p.m. — There was an unresponsive male who was still breathing in the Lodi Lake Nature Area.

Grass fire: 6:14 p.m. — There was a small grass fire in a field and a woman was attempting to stomp it out in the 1300 block of South Lower Sacramento Road.

Sketchy camouflage: 6:34 p.m. — There was a male on the roof of some bathrooms with a camo bandana covering half of his face in the 100 block of Evergreen Drive.

Fireworks in October: 10:20 p.m. — Five to six juveniles were setting off fireworks behind the basketball courts in the 200 block of North Mills Avenue.

Drunk kids: 9:36 p.m. — A large group of kids walked passed a caller’s residence, being loud and shouting that they were drunk in the 2200 block of Bluejay Way.


Too late for visitors: 1:29 a.m. — Subjects were knocking at a door in the 400 block of Flora Street.

Violent patient: 7:07 a.m. — A confused patient turned violent, attempting to hit walls and people in the 900 block of South Fairmont Avenue.
