Between the hours of 8 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Monday, the Lodi Police Department received 429 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls.

Friday

8:57 a.m. — A low-flying plane was causing a noise disturbance on the 1200 block of Harney Lane.

10:59 a.m. — An intoxicated man broke a window at the bus station on the 0 block of Sacramento Street.

12:35 p.m. — A sandwich board sidewalk sign was stolen from the 0 block of West Pine Street.

3:10 p.m. — A man took a puppy to see if it made his grandmother sneeze, then later refused to return the puppy or pay for it on the 200 block of West Elm Street.

7:22 p.m. — Mail was stolen from a community mailbox on the 2400 block of Eilers Lane.

9:09 p.m. — A verbal disturbance was coming from a home on the 700 block of Donner Court.
