Between the hours of 8 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Monday, The Lodi Police Department received 417 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls:
Rummage sale: 8:02 a.m. — Someone found a neighbor going through items on her porch in the 2000 block Sylvan Way.
Dog loose: 11:10 a.m. — A pit bull was running in traffic in the 900 block of South Cherokee Lane.
Quarrel: 12:56 p.m. — Two men were in a verbal argument in the 2300 block of West Kettleman Lane.
Physical: 4:51 p.m. — A transient man tried to hit the owner of a store and a customer in the 300 block of North Washington Street.
Protest: 5:06 p.m. — People were protesting President Barack Obama in the 100 block of South School Street.
Wild ride: 5:37 p.m. — Two people were riding ATVs on the street in the 200 block of Culbertson Drive.
Shooting: 6:18 p.m. — A 9-year-old reported being shot at by juveniles with Airsoft guns in the 300 block of Finch Road.
Fire: 7:04 a.m. — A Dumpster was on fire in an alley in the 200 block of South Pleasant Avenue.
Cat nap: 8:48 a.m. — A transient man was sleeping in a planter box at a business in the 100 block of North Cherokee Lane.
Too fast: 11:43 p.m. — Three trucks were driving recklessly in the dirt in the 200 block of Lakewood Mall.
Overdose: 7:15 p.m. — A male overdosed on heroin in the 700 block of South Cherokee Lane.
Anger: 11:18 p.m. — A woman was harassing customers in the 600 block of East Victor Road.
Noise and smoke: 12:54 a.m. — Loud noise and smoke was coming from the 2000 block of West Turner Road.
