Between the hours of 8 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Monday, the Lodi Police Department received 425 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls:


Dangerous: 8:32 a.m. — A vehicle almost hit a crossing guard on the 400 block of Perlogos Way.

Suspicious: 11:51 a.m. — A garage was spraypainted on the 1800 block of South Church Street.

Property: 1:32 p.m. — Someone found a gold and diamond ring on the 800 block of West Elm Street.

Service: 8:41 p.m. — Orange cones were in the middle of the street on the 1100 block of West Century Boulevard.


Complaint: 1:56 p.m. — Several juveniles jumped a fence and into a playground on the 1300 block of South Crescent Avenue.

Fire: 7:39 p.m. — A pizza in an oven was on fire on the 1500 block of Cherrywood Way.

Complaint: 7:45 p.m. — A group of juveniles were throwing rocks at a vehicle on the 500 block of East Oak Street.


Theft: 4:50 p.m. — Catalytic converters were stolen on the 1000 block of South Garfield Street.

Service: 6:51 p.m. — A man fell into a manhole that didn’t have a cover on the 400 block of Maple Street.


Animal: 1:09 a.m. — Someone complained of a loud dog on the 1400 block of South School Street.
