In the 96 hours after 9 a.m. Thursday, the Lodi Police Department handled 646 calls for service. The following is a sample of police and fire calls received by dispatchers:

Thursday

Move that thing: 9:02 a.m. — A large fifth-wheel was blocking the sidewalk on the 1000 block of Bridgetowne Drive.

Bad dog: 10:32 a.m. — A pit ball the caller referred to as “vicious” attempted to bite them on the 400 block of Hillborn Street.

Reckless driving: 10:36 a.m. — A tomato truck was swerving on the road while headed eastbound on Turner Road.

Not a fan of the genre: 12:37 p.m. — A caller said there was “loud and offensive” music coming from a vehicle parked in front of a business on the 100 block of North Cherokee Lane.

Road blockage: 1:45 p.m. — A large log was in the middle of the intersection and blocking traffic on the 600 block of East Victor Road.

Harassment: 7:49 p.m. — A caller reported receiving harassment from an ex on the 1100 block of Tudor Street.

The place to be: 9:03 p.m. — A caller reported there was a loud party with alcohol on the 700 block of McCoy Court.

Fast and furious: 11:08 p.m. — There was drag racing going on near the 1100 block of Auto Center Drive.

Friday

Not wanting to learn: 6:11 a.m. — A caller said her 15-year-old daughter on the 300 block of North Mills Avenue was resisting going to school.

Not a good start to the day: 6:52 a.m. — Someone had an allergic reaction to an energy drink on the 100 block of East Turner Road.

Ongoing prank: 11:59 a.m. — A caller on the 1400 block of West Tokay Street said people keep ringing the doorbell in the early morning hours and running away. The incident was documented and the caller was told to contact authorities when it happened again.

Those aren’t yours: 12:54 p.m. — Tools were stolen on the 300 block of Cherokee Lane. The caller said the person was wearing a white shirt and blue jeans and fleeing on a bicycle.

Find somewhere else to walk: 6:04 p.m. — Three juveniles were walking on the railroad tracks near the river near the 100 block of River Pointe Circle.

Bingo grift: 9:21 p.m. — A player was using counterfeit money during a Bingo contest on the 200 block of South Church Street.

Too loud in a bar?: 10:18 p.m. — There was a loud, rowdy group in the 600 block of Cherokee Lane, and the bar tender wanted police to do a walk through.

Saturday

Breaking in: 3:53 a.m. — Someone tried to break into the caller’s door from the alleyway in the 500 block of Tokay Street.

A cry for help: 7:49 a.m. — A caller walking on School Street heard a woman screaming “somebody help” in the 800 block of South Sacramento Street.

Modified playground: 2:08 p.m. — Some juveniles were jumping from a classroom roof to cargo containers at a school in the 110 block of West Century Street.

Tortoise wins the race: 4:15 p.m. — There was a very large turtle “moving pretty good, pretty fast” in the 400 block of Eureka Avenue.

No longer a member of the baby-sitter’s club: 7:11 p.m. — A 6-month-old baby was locked inside of a residence while a baby-sitter was stuck outside in the 1300 block of South Mills Avenue.

Couldn’t put the beer down: 11:51 p.m. — A possible drunk driver had an open container while going through a fast-food drive thru in the 1300 block of Business Park Drive.

Sunday

Up to no good: 3:16 a.m. — A caller spotted a group of juveniles walking west on the 1000 block of Turner Road. The caller did not have a complaint about the teens other than they were messing around and up to no good.

Car wash mishap: 10:49 a.m. — A caller on the 800 block of South Cherokee Lane said her vehicle was damaged from a car wash.

Gun-wielding man: 8:30 p.m. — A man in a pearl-colored Pontiac was wielding a gun and threatening someone in the 1100 block of South Ham Lane.
