Here is a sample of calls to the Lodi Police Department on Saturday, Sunday and early Monday:


1:36 a.m. — A man was hiding on the side of a house on the 1000 block of Priebe Street.

6:05 a.m. — A subject was refusing to leave the retention pond behind Raley's on the 2600 block of Lodi Avenue.

9:37 a.m. — A man was going outside and using a loud air horn for five minutes daily on the 500 block of Falls Avenue.

1:58 p.m. — Eight or nine teenagers were skateboarding through the parking lot on the 100 block of Lakewood Mall.

1:10 p.m. — Six or seven juveniles were in a parking lot smoking something out of aluminum on the 200 block of North California Street.

6:50 p.m. — An elderly woman thought two stray dogs were having heat stroke and tried to get them into her car on the 2400 block of Elmwood Court.

7:57 p.m. — Four juveniles were throwing objects at the lamppost on the 2100 block of Turtledove.

9:02 p.m. — Juveniles were on the roof of a school and near the playground, possibly vandalizing the school on the 700 block of Calaveras Street.


1:22 a.m. — Eight intoxicated subjects were on the roof of a building and refusing to leave on the 2600 block of Kettleman Lane.

2:59 a.m. — A garbage can was on fire at the playground on the 800 block of Hutchins Street.

6:21 a.m. — A pellet gun damaged a window on the 400 block of Poplar Street.

8:15 a.m. — A light post and grass were on fire near the corner of the 700 block of South Cherokee Lane.

2:10 p.m. — A man pulling a shopping cart was trying to flag down drivers on the 900 block of West Lodi Avenue.

7:50 p.m. — A bike was stolen in front of a business on the 2300 block of West Kettleman Lane.


6:11 a.m. — A man was sleeping on the walking path by the tennis courts on the 100 block of Evergreen Drive.
