Former Beatles executive Ken Mansfield visits Bear Creek Community Church

Posted: Monday, January 25, 2010 12:00 am

Worship Pastor Jebby Moates, left, sporting an early 1960s Beatles outfit and a late-1960s John Lennon hairstyle, sings a Christian variation of "Here Comes the Sun" during Sunday's service at Bear Creek Community Church. Moates changed the word "sun" to "Son," as in Son of God. The band also performed such songs as "Help," "Revolution," "Don't Let Me Down," "The Word," "In My Life," "Real Love," "Thank You Girl" and "Sun King." The band performed before former record executive Ken Mansfield talked about his friendship with the Beatles and his conversion to Christianity. Moates' son, Graeme, plays bass guitar at right.
