Woodbridge Wilderness Area reopens to the public

Surrounded by wood shavings still fresh and moist, this tree on the south bank of the Mokelumne River was attacked by beavers overnight. But according to Friends of the Woodbridge Wilderness Area volunteer Mary Fuhs, the beavers are not trying to take down the large trees for nesting material, only wearing down their front teeth which are constantly growing.
