Lodi loses Lincoln Highway to Woodbridge in 1914

The Dry Creek Bridge and the Lower Sacramento Road south of Galt were part of the transcontinental Lincoln Highway from 1913 to 1927. The 3,384-mile long highway started in New York City, crossed the country and went through Galt, Lodi and Stockton and ended in San Francisco. (Ralph Lea/Courtesy photograph)
