Supermoon over Lodi Lake

Lodi resident Patrick Sweeney took a photo of the “supermoon” from the west side of Lodi Lake on Saturday, May 5, 2012. A supermoon occurs when the moon is full or new at the closest point of its orbit around the Earth, making it appear much larger than usual.
