Seventh-grader Carson Guendert wins national essay award

Carson Guendert was recently honored for his essay on "Memories of Paul Revere," which won first place of the seventh-grade submissions to the Daughters of the American Revolution's American history essay contest.

His essay was written from Paul Revere's point of view, describing Revere's accomplishments and how he wished to be remembered as a patriot in history.
