Galt police have been unable to find any victims or suspects from a shooting Thursday night.
A witness flagged down a Galt police officer around 11:20 p.m. after seeing two men open fire upon two other men near the intersection of West E Street and Spur Way, according to Galt police. A witness said the shooters fired several rounds from about 15 to 20 feet away at two white men, according to Galt police.
All four men quickly fled.
Officers confirmed that a shooting occurred after finding shell casings from an automatic handgun, according to Galt police. Police called multiple area hospitals, but none were treating any shooting victims.
While there is little information available, police are continuing to investigate the shooting.
