The work on the Central Galt Interchange Project is continuing and has an anticipated completion date of October.
At the end of this month, the contractor will be prepping for paving, with the paving scheduled to begin Sept. 4, according to city manager Jason Behrmann.
The project broke ground in October 2010. Once completed, it will improve the bridge over Highway 99 and add lanes to arguably the busiest overpass in Galt.
The $20 million project is the most expensive paid by the city.
