Pffft. Wanna hear the best part? Their rent a cops checked the purses and asked all of us women folk to remove our pocket knives from our purses before we entered the park. I believe the statement was, "now is the time to remove any pocket knives from your person and take them back to your car. If we find one, we will confiscate it. Ladies, please be prepared to have your purses searched." Of course we ladies all carry our thugs' knives in our purses so they sneak on through. Seriously. No metal wands, no metal detectors, no body frisks....and they wonder why there was a stabbing last night. Each year it gets worse. Next year it will probably close at dusk to prevent the jackazzes from ruining it for everyone else. I swear, people don't know how to act right in public. Unreal.
