The two barefoot Lodi High seniors wore T-shirts and boxers, standard night attire for teens. They were midway through a weekend before going back to another week of school, which for them includes a fire science class.

Then, in the early hours of Sunday morning, the firefighter hopefuls found themselves rushing across Mills Avenue to save seven people and two dogs from a burning duplex.

To: so stupid, Yes you should take a lesson from these teens. Take notice and stop belittling their efforts/courage. You talk out of both sides of your mouth. You don't want anyone to praise them. Why?...Because they are young? That's just plain stupid and shallow. Then you end up praising them in your post?? Are you okay? Have you fallen and can't get up? And what exactly is my "agenda"? To be kind and offer kudos? How horrible of me to praise these two boys! You've got quite a wild imagination. Too bad you use it for evil_and_not_good.

I wonder if you'd feel the same way if these boys helped you as your house was burning down?

Oh my GOD...I cannot beleive that people, whatever-continued-Lodi Mother, would even come on here and have nothing good to say about these teens. Why don't you people go and dwell in your negative HOLES by yourself. I hope these teens are not reading these comments posted by these individuals. It could result in their proud, positive attitudes changing to negative thoughts. Great going WHATEVER-CONTINUED-LODI MOTHER......you are what is wrong with this city.

Proud Lodian: It happens all the time. Let's make this as big deal as it should be and help make this blog become just as popular as the negative teen blogs. These boys sure do deserve a heroes praise indeed. They are teens and they have shown the heart and courage of a selfless adult firefighter. These are the boys, soon to be men, that I would want to come to the rescue of my family in an emergency. All of Lodi should be very proud!
