Lodi police are still looking for a woman after arresting two men, including one at gunpoint, on Friday morning.
Police responded to reports of an argument between two men and a woman near the intersection of Pine and Chestnut streets around 10:30 a.m. When an officer arrived, Jacob Timmerman ran, Lodi Police Sgt. Eric Versteeg said. Timmerman, 27, had a warrant for possessing stolen property, Versteeg said.
The officer stayed with Bradley Cox, 30, and the woman until other officers arrived.
Several officers began searching for Timmerman before finding him hiding in a nearby backyard, Versteeg said.
While an officer was with Cox and the woman, the woman walked away, so officers spent several minutes canvassing the neighborhood.
Three officers suspected she could be in a nearby home, so they entered the home with guns drawn only to find it empty after a brief search, Versteeg said.
Timmerman and Cox, who both had warrants for their arrest, were later booked into Lodi Jail, Versteeg said.
