An owl box stands about 15 feet about the Borra Vineyards grapevines on Elliot Road. The owls that nest in the boxes are a natural way to prevent rodents from chewing on the roots of the vines. Owl boxes are one of 70 regulations required by local vineyards to be certified Lodi Rules Sustainable.
