Lodi Police Department

In the 24 hours since 1 p.m. Wednesday, the Lodi Police Department handled 151 calls for service. The following is a sample of calls received by dispatchers.

Wednesday

1:17 p.m.: A juvenile pointed some sort of gun at a residence in the 1500 block of Park Street.

2:03 p.m.: Someone was assaulted in the 300 block of Hilborn Street.

4:22 p.m.: A 13-year-old Corbin Lane resident threw a knife at her foster mother.

5:42 p.m.: A bald man with a neck brace asked for directions to Lodi Memorial Hospital from a bus stop at Ham and Kettleman lanes.

8:52 p.m.: People were fighting in the street in the 700 block of Wimbledon Drive.

9:07 p.m.: A possibly drunk male was staggering north on Central Avenue near Vine Street.

11:25 p.m.: After hitting a garbage can and possible a parked car on Evergreen Drive, a red truck left the scene.

Thursday

12:11 a.m.: Three males and two females were drinking in front of Lawrence School, 721 Calaveras Street.

1:29 a.m.: A blue 1993 Plymouth Voyager was stolen in the past three hours in the 2300 block of Aspen Grove Drive.

6:52 a.m.: After being bitten by a dog on Cedar Court, a newspaper carrier went home. The suspect dogs were described as a medium black dog and a small "yappy" dog.

7:49 a.m.: Someone burglarized a business in the 300 block of South Fairmont Avenue by breaking into a window.

8:06 a.m.: A blue Kia Sorento sport-utility vehicle was stolen in the 1300 block of West Walnut Street.

9:09 a.m.: Fairmont 7th Day Adventist Church, 730 S. Fairmont Ave., was burglarized.

9:52 a.m.: A red and beige Chevy truck was stolen at Ray Enterprises Auto Sales, 1011 E. Pine St.

10:05 a.m.: Someone left an infant alone in a green mini-van at Rancho San Miguel, 620 S. Cherokee Lane.

10:19 a.m.: Nobody was injured when a UPS truck and a small car collided at Cluff Avenue and Pine Street.

12:16 p.m.: A man on a yellow bicycle asked a Lake Home Drive resident if he could mow her lawn for $5.

Galt Police Department

In the 72 hours since 8 a.m. Monday, the Galt Police Department handled 158 calls. The following is a sample of calls received by dispatchers.

Monday

7:25 p.m.: A burglary took place at Secure Self Storage, 535 Industrial Drive.

Tuesday

12:23 p.m.: A burglary took place in the 900 block of Lake Park Avenue.

Wednesday

9:27 a.m.: A vehicle rolled over on Twin Cities Road near Midway Road.

6:59 p.m.: Galt Fire was sent to investigate an extreme white light from a garage in the 400 block of North Lincoln Way.
