Fiona’s still fighting — on three legs
Fiona licks the face of her owner, former News-Sentinel reporter Katie Nelson, on Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012. It was the first time they had seen each other since Fiona had her leg amputated on Monday. Nelson and News-Sentinel photo chief Dan Evans adopted Fiona after she was struck by a car and rescued by Lodi police on St. Patrick’s Day.
