Public invited to help plan Thornton’s 150th anniversary celebration

The community is invited to a planning meeting Monday to organize this year's 150th anniversary of the Thornton community.

Activities will include historical walks, antique car shows, a grand parade, a tractor show andfood vendors.

The meeting will begin at 5 p.m. Monday at the Thornton Community Center, located on the grounds of New Hope School, 26675 N. Sacramento Blvd., Thornton. For more information, call 209-794-2144
