One woman suffered a gunshot wound to her arm after she and friends were shot at while walking late Monday night.
At approximately 11:50 p.m., a 19-year-old woman was walking with friends, who appeared to be gang associates, near Stockton and Cherry streets when a small, four-door vehicle approached the group, said Lt. Fernando Martinez of the Lodi Police Department.
Martinez said the occupants of the vehicle, which witnesses described as Hispanic males, began yelling at the group.
Then one of the occupants opened fire on the group, hitting the 19-year-old woman in the arm.
The woman was driven to Lodi Memorial Hospital where she was treated for her arm wound as well as a wrist wound, Martinez said.
