Edward Peruta, a semi-retired investigator from San Diego and concealed carry permit holder in three other states, wanted a permit in order to carry a weapon when traveling to remote destinations in his motor home.

The San Diego County Sheriff’s Office rejected his application, stating that Peruta’s reason for a permit was too “generalized” and didn’t establish a specific and verifiable threat against his life.

Only the good ol' boys would qualify for that lame excuse to carry. As one that is rumored to carry here in Lodi simply because he always carries large amounts of cash in his pockets.

The 2nd Amendment is my "permit" to carry. End of debate.

It never ceases to amaze me how some people feel they have the right dictate when, where and how you are "allowed" to exercise your Constitutional Rights. The Constitution is my permit to carry when and where I want! Debate over.
