Lodi City Council discusses drought strategies

As the region enters the hot, dry summer months, drought is looming large on a lot of minds — including those of the Lodi City Council members.

At Wednesday evening’s council meeting, Public Works Director Wally Sandelin gave a presentation about what the city is doing to meet Gov. Jerry Brown’s order to cut water use by 36 percent.
