The couple has not been seen and has not contacted family since, according to a sheriff’s report issued Saturday.

Van Chanpenxi, 64, is a Laotian man standing 5 feet 9 inches and weighing 155 pounds. He is bald and clean shaven, has brown eyes and wears glasses. It is unknown what he was wearing at the time.

Chantra Chanpenxi, 51, is a Laotian woman standing 5 feet 3 inches and weighs 120 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. It is unknown what Chantra was wearing at the time.

Anyone with any information regarding the whereabouts of the Chanpenxis is urged to contact the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department at 916-874-5115.
