The following is a list of public meetings in the Lodi and Galt areas this week:

Tuesday

Lodi City Council special meeting

Key item:

  • Authorize recruitments to staff the city’s water treatment plant and appropriating $225,000.

When and where: 7 a.m., Carnegie Forum, 305 W. Pine St., Lodi.

San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors

Key items:

  • Change the funding mechanism for rural property owners participating in the Williamson Act due to state elimination of Williamson Act reimbursements to the county.
  • Adopt terms and conditions of employment for employees represented be Service Employees International Union.
  • Recognition of the Kids Don’t Float and Retired Seniors Volunteer Program.
  • Appointment to the Woodbridge Municipal Advisory Council. Ed Wall and Doug Field have applied.
  • Adopt ordinance adopting a non-parking zone for a 295-foot stretch of the eastern Highway 99 frontage road north of Shippee Lane in Morada.

Wednesday

Lodi Planning Commission

Tonight’s meeting is canceled.

Lodi Art Advisory Board

meeting is canceled.

Lodi Site Plan & Architectural Review Committee (SPARC)

They cite limited seating, costs and unpredictable weather at the Grape Bowl.
