Starting Aug. 1, seniors and those with disabilities will need to show proof they are eligible to pay a discounted fare on the city of Lodi's buses.

The program will include both the GrapeLine fixed routes and Dial-A-Ride. There are five forms of identification the city will accept on the bus, or people can apply in advance for a "City of Lodi GrapeLine Discount ID" card.

Seems like a California Drviers License would work if you also brought along a pocket calculator.

Article stated...In the past, fraud has also been committed on the buses because drivers have never required proof, she said

How can that be? Impossible. Just ask the democratic party and Barack Obama. He insists that there is no voter fraud even though no ID is required or any kind of proof verifying eligibility.

I think the ACLU and Eric Holder need to challenge the city of Lodi in this blatant attempt to deny rights of it's citizens. Next thing you know the elderly will have to sit in the back of the bus. A discount is their right without proving anything. This is the American way according to Obama and his pals.

    Fraud? Impossible.
