Rep. Jerry McNerney, D-Stockton, highlighted two local manufacturers at a showcase in the Commerce, Manufacturing and Trade Subcommittee of the Energy and Commerce Committee in the U.S. House of Representatives on Thursday.

“I was proud to bring products from Lodi Iron Works and JM Eagle from Stockton to Washington,” McNerney said in a written statement. “Both companies are great contributors to our local manufacturing sector and help create good-paying local jobs in the Central Valley.”

Lodi Iron Works has offices in Lodi and Galt. Founded in 1946, it employs 45 people between the two offices. Lodi Iron Works manufactures raw castings of stainless steel, carbon steel, iron and meehanite grey that are used in cars, planes, tanks and other industrial purposes.
