University of the Pacific students hoping to become teachers are learning how to use the peer-to-peer method, especially since it fits into the Common Core State Standards being introduced nationwide.
“It’s all about problem-solving, or backward-learning knowledge,” said Lynn Beck, dean of the university’s education department. “We want to help people learn to think way ahead, to anticipate things we never thought about.”
