Four of the five Galt Joint Union High School District trustees on Tuesday joined with Superintendent Daisy Lee in signing their annual pledge. Among other things, it reaffirms the board's willingness to work together and with the community for the students' sake.
Lee introduced the board protocol three years ago, shortly after she was hired.
Trustee Diann Kitamura did not sign the pledge because she was absent.
On Tuesday, trustees also discussed a student request to allow off-campus lunch privileges as an inventive for good grades and perfect attendance. The board plans to revisit the idea.
