The following is a list of public meetings in the Lodi and Galt areas this week:


Lodi City Council shirtsleeve

Key item: Give a tour of the surface water treatment plant.

When and where: 7 a.m., Carnegie Forum, 305 W. Pine St., Lodi.

Lodi Sister City Committee

The regularly scheduled meeting is canceled.

San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors

Key items:

  • Report by Campbell Ingram, executive officer of the Delta Conservancy, regarding the Delta Conservancy Strategic Plan.
  • Report on operating costs for proposed jail expansion.
  • Report by chairman John Vera on the Mary Graham Children’s Foundation.
  • Consider reappointing Porfirio Cisneros to the Thornton Community Services Advisory Board.
  • Recognition of the Division V state champion Brookside Christian girls basketball team, state champion wrestlers Joseph “J.T.” Goodwin of Bear Creek High and Clover Esquival of Edison High; and Chavez High student Richard Black III for winning a wrestling tournament in Virginia.

When and where: 9 a.m., board chambers, 44 N. San Joaquin St., sixth floor, Stockton.


Galt Measure R Citizens Oversight Committee

When and where: 6 p.m., Anthony Pescetti Community Room, 455 Industrial Drive, Galt.

Galt Joint Union Elementary School District board of trustees

When and where: 7 p.m., City Council chambers, 380 Civic Drive, Galt.

Lodi Art Advisory Board

Key items:

  • Discuss the Arts in Public Places logo.
  • Discuss the water shed mural proposal, bike racks and utility box art.

When and where: Hutchins Street Square, Green Room, 125 S. Hutchins St., Lodi.

Lodi Site Plan and Architectural Committee

The regularly scheduled meeting is canceled.

Lodi Planning Commission

The regularly scheduled meeting is canceled.


Galt Commission on Aging

When and where: 5:30 p.m., 610 Chabolla Ave., Galt
