The attorney for Molly Rachelle Wilson, 25, is still receiving discovery and is not yet ready to begin her murder trial.

Wilson is accused of premeditated murder, being an addict in possession of a firearm and being a convict carrying a concealed weapon. Wilson and Kevin Jackson, 23, were arrested July 23 by the Elk Grove Police Department after crashing their vehicle in Sacramento County, according to the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Department.

The two were arrested in connection with the murder of Brian McDaniel, 31, who was shot July 20 and taken off life support two days later.

Jackson is still being held in Sacramento County Jail awaiting trial for being a felon in possession of a firearm and having a loaded firearm in public. He also has an outstanding warrant with the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Department, according to public records.

Wilson is being held on a $1.2 million bond at San Joaquin County Jail. Her next court appearance is Sept. 15.
