As country singer Kenny Chesney proclaimed, “It’s a smile, it’s a kiss and it’s a sip of wine, it’s summertime!” He could add that it’s Downtown Lodi Farmers Market time!

The farmers market is gearing up for its 2014 season under the leadership of the Lodi District Chamber of Commerce and presenting sponsor Prime Shine Car Wash. From 5 to 8:30 p.m. every Thursday until Sept. 4, fresh California produce will be available for purchase, and residents and visitors can grab a bite, order a drink, meet up with friends or make new ones in a laid-back, family-friendly atmosphere.
