The bi-annual Lodi Street Faire takes place Sunday, and tens of thousands of people are expected to converge on Downtown for the event.
The event will also include "Green Avenue," a section of the faire dedicated to alternative energy products and environmentally responsible living. Electric vehicles and other environmentally friendly products will be on display.
The Street Faire will also host a Cinco de Mayo-themed section, said Sandi Somers, events manager for the Lodi Chamber of Commerce.
It will feature live music, food and a talent competition. It is hosted by the Hispanic Business Committee of the Lodi Chamber of Commerce. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Elena Sanchez Memorial Scholarship fund of the Hispanic Business Committee.
The Street Faire runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and is free to attend.
