Being fit after age 50 will be the theme for this year’s Senior Awareness Day, which will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Micke Grove Park.
The 33rd annual day is sponsored by the San Joaquin County Human Services Agency in sponsorship with other community agencies and organizations. More than 3,000 people are expected to attend, and more than 130 public and private agencies will have information booths.
Seniors will also participate in a 1.5-mile walk, play bingo and learn to square dance.
