Comments on planned Lodi court closure wanted

Residents will have the opportunity to submit comments on the state’s plan to close the Lodi and Tracy courtrooms and clerk’s office.

Due to budget cuts, the state plans to close the two branch courts on Oct. 3.

Comments may be submitted no later than 5 p.m. Aug. 2. Comments may be emailed to court management analyst Stephanie Bohrer at sbohrer@courts.san-joaquin.ca.us, or personally delivered or mailed to the following court locations: 217 W. Elm St. or 315 W. Elm St., Lodi, CA 95240; 222 E. Weber Ave., Stockton, CA 95202; 540 E. Main St., Stockton, CA 95202; 315 E. Center St., Manteca, CA 95336; or 475 E. 10th St., Tracy, CA 95376.

    That's correct Doug and it's why we need to do everything possible to keep our Lodi courts open.
