Last week, Assembly members Richard Pan, D-Sacramento, and Nancy Skinner, D-Berkeley, introduced legislation that will restore funding and improve long term stability of California’s Medicaid program, more commonly known as Medi-Cal.
“I have sought to make the Medi-Cal program more cost-effective, transparent and accountable,” said Pan, who is chairman of the Assembly Health Committee. “The legislation that we are introducing today continues this effort.”
