Lodi Unified School District's passage rate on the California High School Exit Exam exceed San Joaquin county's passage rate in both the overall math and English-language arts portions of the exam.

Scores for all of Lodi Unified's subgroups did not exceed county scores.

This information was unclear in a page 1 article in Thursday's News-Sentinel.

Music instruction is not a requirement for California high priority schools. Needham Elementary School staff decided they did not want to cut music instructional time. So the 40 minute requirement is specific to Needham Elementary.

This information was unclear in a story in Tuesday's News-Sentinel.

Your newspaper, webmaster, Marty & Rich, has sure gone to hell in a handbasket these last two weeks. You should be ashamed at the "National Enquirer" type "news" in your paper lately. Why not dig into these corrupt CC and management heads here in Lodi that have all these promises and no solutions except to raise taxes and utility rates? Lodi Lake is the least of this towns worries.Quit fearing reprisals from your "movers and Shakers" and start printing truthful, informative articles treating all fairly or take your inserts and rag to Galt!
